3.5" Nylon Precision Brush Set for Cleaning Airbrushes, Spray Guns, & Tattoo Tube TipReviewsVery disappointed with this product. I bought it to clean my Iwata Revolution airbrush but not even the finer/smaller brush will enter the airbrush needle passage. After some struggling and bending it a couple of times in the process it did enter but the fit was so tight I couldnt move it back and forth so it couldnt perform any cleaning of it at all. When pulling it out "by force", several bristles came loose inside the airbrush. Definitely NOT recommended for the advertised use. Average Rating:![]() |

Tub Tattoos: ClownfishReviewsThese have been great for our tub and lasted for a long time. They look so cute like little Nemos all over the tub. Great for little people bathing not slipping. These are big and very cute. I wish there were more in the package. They serve it's purpose and stay on well. these stick great, prevent slipping and were easy to install in our tub. they are bright, fun and our toddler loves them. the only downside (keeping it from being 5 stars) is that there are only 5 included in the order, making them a little expensive. still, we were looking for something bright, fun and functional and definitely found it. we have the ducks (there were 10 in that package) and turtles (8 in the package), too, so our tub is a fun menagerie. I bought 4 types of appliques so my girls can have fun in the bathtub. But the main reason I bought it it's because I got tired of having to wash the anti slip bath mats. So, I said good bye to bath mats!...they're easy to install and good quality. I can recommend it I really like the clownfish design. The applique is large and cute. But I have a problem getting it to stick. The edges keep coming up, even after putting weight on it for a week. I know this is a problem with this particular brand because I also got some appliques from Home Depot and those are sticking fine right next to these on the exact same surface. This is a brand new shower floor cleaned with alcohol. So until they improve the adhesive I wouldn't call these tattoos, they should call them temporary decals. Average Rating:![]() |

These fun Tub Tattoo designs not only provide reliable non-slip protection, they're also a great addition to your bathroom decor. Stick them on the tub floor or your tiled walls! |

All Inclusive Sierra Comfort Portable Massage Table (Ships with Fitted Sheets, Bolster, Carry Bag, LUX Foam, Towel Hanger, Oil Pouch and Much More)ReviewsQuite pleased with my purchase but it didn't include a top sheet to cover up the person on the table and the rod for the towel hanger. Luckly I ordered a extra set of sheets. A breaf instruction manuel would be nice also about what goes where. Also a few days after I placed my order I recieved a second tracking Id number in a email that it was going to be delivered in CA and Louisina. Had to do some back checking to make sure I wasn't charged for two of them. Every thing worked out and table showed up on time. Lessons I learned is not to order something on a holiday weekend like new years. I purchased this as a gift for a friend going to massage school. He was so happy with it! It comes with everything and is very sturdy. I couldn't be more pleased! We have a mutual friend that is a massage therapist and he was very impressed with the quality and price. Very sturdy. Padding is thick and comfortable. Came completely assembled. Just had to attach the attachments. Only complaint is the length of armrests. They could be a little longer. But overall great item for the price. I found one at Costco with similar specs without the attachments for $50 more. Like other couples my wife and I have some discomfort trying to give massages on the bed. And they don't last long because of this fact. The person giving the massage is hunched over, and the person receiving the massage has the neck and shoulders out of alignment. We have both had professional massages before and know why you need a table for correct massage. We just kept putting it off for some reason, mostly me because of price. But let me tell you , do not be skeptical of this table because of the price. It is awesome! It is slightly heavy, but when you open it up and stand it up you will see that it is rock-solid! I am 6' 175 lb with wide shoulders and I feel like a little kid on this table. It is big! And solid! It is so nice to feel that you are on something so sturdy and strong. That was my initial concern that possibly we buy a table , spend good money, and it is rickety and sways when you get/give a massage. Not this one! Things to buy with this table: 1.Earthlite Disposable Headrest Covers #100 count# - You don't want skin touching the vinyl 2. Massage video-- because you can make it up as you go, but there are so many more movements to learn, just choose your favorites for a more diverse massage. The key to a successful massage I have found is, if nothing else, just GO SLOW with your movements! 3. A full sheet set. Any will do. We already had one and it fits pretty darn well. No need to by any special massage table sheets. On the accessories: We don't use the side bolsters--you would have to be really wide to use these, I mean the table is big! The hand/forearm rest--we don't use it , like our hands by our sides better. Ankle and knee bolsters--use these all the time, they are the perfect size! Long story short-- buy this table! Now! I purchased this table for use while I am attending massage school. I am on a VERY tight budget like most people and I think this is a great starter table at a great price. My instructor says that she is impressed with what I paid and that it will definately serve it's purpose. The only draw back is that it is not as wide as most tables but it does have the side extenders that come with it to help make up for that. I almost gave it four stars for the size but at this price, one heck of a deal especially with 2 free bolsters, you can't have everything and I am totally happy with my purchase. Also the seller I bought it from (BACG) here on Amazon provided exceptional customer service. Average Rating:![]() |

Beat the Devil's TattooReviewsHayes and Been have come a long way from their high school days in San Francisco, and seem to finally be getting some broader attention in the wake of Howl and Baby 81. Beat the Devil's Tattoo represents Leah Shapiro's debut with the power trio. Formerly the touring drummer for the Raveonettes, Shapiro is stellar here. She reminds me of Janet Weiss of Sleater-Kinney, only better suited to Hayes/Been. For those of you who loved Baby 81 you will love this CD. For those who preferred the direction B.R.M.C. was heading with Howl will be once again disappointed. One of these days it would be nice of Mr. Been decided it would be artistically acceptable to include his cover of Dylan's "Visions of Johanna" which he performed recently at a concert in Vancouver on a future reissue of this release. Courtney Jaye adds a fine guest vocal to "The Toll" which for the time being will console me for the want of Mr. Been's brilliant cover version aforementioned. Outstanding tracks: "Bad Blood", "War Machine", "Evol" "Shadow Keeper" and the closing ten minute twenty second "Half-State". **** 1/2 stars Upon first listen of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club's latest album, "Beat the Devil's Tattoo," the first reaction might very well be that the range of sound is familiar, very much in the same vein as what the band has put out in years past. The band has its niche, and while they continue to grow and change, overall they've decided to maintain an integrity and consistency with what they want B.R.M.C. to sound like. This observation isn't a criticism -- it's refreshing to see a good band you can count on to not try to reinvent themselves every time it becomes fashionable to do so. Fans who love past albums will love this. Those looking for some good new music will find a unique and exciting listen in "Devil's Tattoo." When people talk or write about the band, the influence of blues music always seems to get undercut, or perhaps just ignored. The spirit of "Howl" displayed this blues influence more than the other albums perhaps, but B.R.M.C.'s electric, hard-driven rock has always sounded very blues-based. On this album that influence is evident from the title track, to "Conscience Killer," to "River Styx." Don't misunderstand -- this is not a blues record. But the influence of blues into what this band does makes for some driving, head-noddin', foot-tappin' rock music that just makes you feel good. It's an album that arguably gets better on the second and third listen. It's hard to not sound too over-the-top in praising the band. In a music era where so much of what is put out for consumption is industrial, unoriginal, and just pretty bland, this band has been a breath of fresh air for this reviewer (pardon the cliche). But it's true. There isn't really another band that sounds like them putting out music as consistently as they are. Yes, in many ways "Devil" sounds very much like their past records, but it's hard to see why that's a bad thing. Maybe this isn't new territory for the band, but these songs are new, and that's reason enough to go out and pick this up. I'm on my third listen for the day, and it sounds better each time. Can't wait to see them live. In 2009, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club closed the final chapter on drummer Nick Lago, who was kicked out of the band after the "Baby 81" 2007 album and tour. Last year's excellent 2DVD/CD "Live" release brought highlights from that tour, and even though heavy on "Baby 81" tracks, this serves as an unofficial look back on the first 10 years or so of the band. In 2008, new drummer Leah Shapiro joined BRMC, and now finally comes the revamped band's fifth studio album. "Beat the Devil's Tattoo" (13 tracks; 65 min.) starts off with the title track, which just oozes "Howl" all over. After that, we return to the 'classic' heavy BRMC sound with the up-tempo "Conscience Killer", and a slow-burning "War Machine", one of the best tracks on here. "Sweet Feeling" is a nice acoustic breather. The 6 min. "Evol" is another highlight on the album. "Mama Taught Me Better" is a hard charging head-on rocker. There are a couple of songs in the middle of the album that seem unfocused or misdirected (such as "River Styx" and "The Toll"). Towards the end of the album, "Shadow's Keeper" is a nerve-shattering song that comes crashing down eventually, wow. But we're not done. The closer "Half-State" is a 10+ min. epic song that will blow up the roof. In all, there are enough good songs on here to keep me coming back, but the album is overlong and would've been served well by some tighter editing, keeping some of the weaker tracks for B sides and similar releases. I've seen BRMC a number of times over the years, most recently in the summer of 2008 when new drummer Leah Shapiro had just joined the band. She will do just fine, as she also proves on this album. Can't wait to see how the band will bring these songs live. Average Rating:![]() |

Love TattooReviewsHeaded into a Jamie Cullum show, I wondered who the opening act would be. The first time I heard Imeda May & her unbelievable talented band would be the same night. Everything about her and the band was a delight. She used the work rockabilly for some of the songs and blues for the others. The best comment I could make is that one work cannot describe their style or talent. I am a causual listener of rocabilly & blues but Imelda makes it something completely her own. They were just an amazing live band to watch. Oh yeah - the CD is great too (picked it up at the concert). I first saw Imelda May performing with Jeff Beck at the Grammys doing "How High the Moon". I was blown away and couldn't get her out of my mind until I found her on YouTube. I immediatly bought her "Love Tattoo" CD. It was my non- stop for two solid days! I hadn't enjoyed a CD so much in years! She does new original material in Rockabilly style, very nice slow ballads, and some remakes of 60's classics. Leaving me wanting more, I found she had an earlier CD called "No Turning Back" I ordered it and to my surprise, it is as good as "Love Tattoo". Give her a listen, you won't be sorry. If you look for her on YouTube, listen to Big Bad Handsome Man, Johnny got a Boom Boom, Meet You at the Moon, and Falling in Love with You Again for a good sampling. And of course, if your on YoutTube, check out her Grammy performance with Jeff Beck, incredible! This is a great set of original music- I heard her first on an NPR interview, and I've purchased and given away 5 disc's to my friends. A very seductive voice coupled with great backup. Cuts 2,3,5,8 and 12 are my favorites, but they're all strong and instantly identifiable. Imelda May should be a world known artist. The vocals are warm and sultry. The words to the songs are imaginative and clever. Many of the melodies are danceable. Ms. May wrote most of the songs on this CD. The CD transcends "rockabilly". The instrumentation is excellent! Enjoy! This is an exciting and innovative album with eclectic styles. A breath of fresh air on the pop scene. Average Rating:![]() |

Tattoo YouReviewsTY--Has alway been one of the best Stones album of all time...It shows what the Greatest rock and roll bands of all time can really do.. This NEW Remaster makes it sound even better...It is well worth buying for the cleaner crisp sound it now offers.. Let it rock! Hey, in 2009 no one, including this reviewer, NEEDS to comment on the fact that The Rolling Stones, pound for pound, have over forty plus years earned their place as the number one band in the rock `n' roll pantheon. Still, it is interesting to listen once again to the guys when they were at the height of their musical powers (and as high, most of the time, as Georgia pines). This album from the tail end of their most creative period , moreover, unlike let us say Bob Dylan who has produced more creative work for longer, is the "golden era" of the Stone Age. The album, however, is a little uneven in spots reflecting, I think, a certain exhaustion of material that they could call their totally their own unless the time when they owned a big chunk of rock 'n'roll in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The age of a more sedate music (at least technically) was approaching and I think there was some confusion about whether to embrace it or "spoof" it. Still the "Start Me Up' track, a staple of their live concerts and a great way to rev up the 1960s aging children is a Stones "greatest hits" " number, right? "Worried About You" and "No Use In Crying" are stick outs in this CD. I do not think anything else here qualifies for their "greatest hits" vault. Some say that Exile on Main Street is the last great Rolling Stones album, others say it's Some Girls, but Tattoo You is really the last one to have songs which have remained unsurpassed. Unlike Some Girls and Emotional Rescue, there's not a trace of disco on this one. Infact, the album could be considered as a sequel of sorts to Sticky Fingers. Many of the songs mirror ones from that album. Instead of 'Brown Sugar,' we're given 'Start Me Up,' which was the Stones' best rock single since then. Instead of 'Can't You Hear Me Knocking,' we're given 'Slave,' a jam that also features a superb blend of guitar and saxophone. Indeed, the sax makes its most triumphant return here, courtesy of the great Sonny Rollins and Bobby Keyes. Instead of 'You Gotta Move,' we're given 'Black Limosine,' and so on. Also like Sticky Fingers, Tattoo You features just as many rockers as slow numbers. To dismiss Tattoo You as simply an album of out-takes is ignorant. It delivers in a way that no other Stones album has been able to since, partly because it is the last one to have that "classic Stones" sound, made better than ever by the 2009 remastering. In addition, it can't be denied that great talent went into the tracks. Tattoo You features no less than 4 amazing gutiarists - Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, Wayne Perkins, and Mick Taylor. The book "According to the Rolling Stones" even lists Pete Townshend among the credits (backing vocals on 'Slave'). Perkins does a superb guitar solo on 'Worried About You' and Taylor appears on 'Tops' and 'Waiting on a Friend.' Considering what came after it (Undercover, Dirty Work, Steel Wheels), it's no wonder that Tattoo You is considered the last great Stones album. Steel Wheels is better than Undercover and Dirty Work, but not great. Voodoo Lounge, while not a complete failure, is littered with filler and Bridges to Babylon has hip-hop overtones in spots. Only until A Bigger Bang did the band finally release an album that was fairly consistent in quality. Tattoo You is definitely worth buying and I also recommend Still Life, an underrated live album from their 1981-1982 tour. If you love sax, you'll love this album. It's a mellow and sublime CD. Great remaster and as another reviewer said, it's all about the Bass and the Drums. Much greater clarity and depth and a noticeable improvement over the 1994 Virgin issues. This is my 5th Stones remaster so far from this 2009 reissue campaign and I haven't been disappointed in any of them so far. Average Rating:![]() |

Tattoo [VHS]ReviewsWhere most movies about obsessions fail is in trying to make the obsession believable. Notable successes were the creepy The Collector and the classic Psycho (Collector's Edition), notable failures have included Lolita and more recently, Lolita. I guess the problem is that obsession is such a perfectly internal state that we have no subtle physical markers for it. So the actor playing the obsessed character has to or tends to end up chewing the scenery to remind us that there is some unusual mental state behind his character's odd behavior. By choosing a marginal character-one whose very vocation has overtones of sadomasochistic fascination, screenwriter Bunel avoids the necessity of writing a cartoonishly weird character and Bruce Dern is free to underplay the part believably. Maud Adams is delicious and the poster may be one of the erotic classics of movie advertising. --Lynn Hoffman, author of New Short Course in Wine,The and the totally believable bang BANG: A Novel I was quite pleased to finally find this movie at a video store seeing as it's been out of print for some time. I've been a fan of the luscious, high-cheekboned Maud Adams since her slinky appearances in two Bond movies, The Man with the Golden Gun and Octopussy.Tattoo is a very intense story of one man's obsession with a woman and with a fetish. Bruce Dern plays roles like this so well. His character is a make-up artist who develops a fixation with a beautiful model (Adams) he meets on a job. Dern's real love is tattooing, and although he wins the girl over and has the chance to romance her in a normal relationship, he is unable to because of his pathology. He kidnaps her instead and exerts control over her until she willingly submits to having her flesh permanently marked by his needles. The plot of lovesick men kidnapping/imprisoning the objects of their affection has been repeated many times, as in Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down, and Private Obsession, but Tattoo holds its own in this genre. The ending is shocking, yet fitting. "Tattoo" is a unique mystery that explores a tattoo artist who becomes dangerously obsessed with a model/actress. Many twists and turns occur, keeping the mystery alive. Though few other writers have constructed such theme, there are many flaws. The kidnapping and the captive scenes could have been more detailed and more involved. Most of those scenes would never occur in that level in real life, especially the victim's escape plans. Despite such flaws, the storyline is highly creative. The body art is highly enjoyable to view. The high-tech effort involved in perfecting every detail and making them real-looking was highly noticeable. They're flawless. The acting was average. There was some potential for improvement, but that never happened. The actor behind the tattoo artist, the lead character, gave his character a deeply dangerous persona, giving the movie the extra mystery. Such depth symbolizes the movie. "Tattoo" may have mixed reviews toward its audiences. It has good details; it has some that could use great improvement. However, this will keep many entertained. Karl (Bruce Dern) is an obsessed tattoo artist who kidnaps model Maddy (real-life model/actress Maude Adams). Karl drugs Maddy and takes her to a secluded house. Maddy awakens to find she has become a canvas for skin illustrations -- Karl is consecrating her body with tattoos. A virtual prisoner, Maddy submits to becoming Karl's masterpiece and Goddess. Some Pagan organizations conduct periodic rituals that include rededication to the Pagan God and Goddess -- voluntary tattooing can be a part of these rituals. I consider "Tattoo" a flawed Creation story, however. Bruce Dern plays Karl much like Anthony Perkin's "Psycho" role and Karl's secluded house resembles the house overlooking the Bates Motel. Kidnapped Maddy passively submits to tattooing. And I believe the exquisite pastel tattoos depicted on Maude Adams are not practical. Most tattoos use dark saturated colors for patchability, and Maddy's pastel tattoos could not be patched artistically after abrasions, winter dryness, and sunburn peeling. Maddy would be forced to become a hothouse plant to maintain her pastel tattoos' beauty. I love movies like this, I watch them to see just how strange they will get!!! Tattoo is more of a psychological drama, I found myself wondering what it would be like to have been in a position like that of Maude Adams' character...I was completely paranoid and even claustraphobic by the end of the movie!!! Teresa's Tattoo [VHS]ReviewsThis is a fast-paced, hilarious film with an interesting history. I initially purchased it because kd lang had a role in it, and she is absolutely a scream as a pious, "Born Again" fervent Christian aunt who tries to give Teresa advice. Julie Cypher (Lee Diamond Phillips & Melissa Etheridge's Ex) directed this funny film that is very entertaining. Melissa Etheridge provides a great soundtrack with several original songs. Nancy McKeon is in a comical supporting role as Teresa's friend and sidekick. What starts off as Teresa and her friend going to an All-Girl party ends with car chases and meeting all kinds of characters along the way. The acting was spot-on, and it appears the actors were having fun making this film. A great film to watch over and over again. Okay...so I bought this movie because of it's history. Yes, it is directed by Julie Cypher (ex lover/girlfriend of my favorite singer, Melissa Etheridge). Yes, it features Lou Diamond Phillips, Julie's ex husband, a few other noteable actors (kd lang, etc etc) and a cameo by Melissa herself including alot of her music...anyways...that is why I bought it. Buuuuut, it was very entertaining. It was obviously meant to be wacky and hard to follow...duh! It was very funny and just a good movie to watch. It's not deep or inspirational or heart-felt and it's not supposed to be! If you are a fan of any of these actors, give it a shot. I got my copy used through an amazon.com vendor and I'm very glad I did. $15 bucks for a rare piece of ME history is nothin...especially since I'm a huge movie fan anyways ;) Cheerio.. This movie is TERRIBLE. The plot is non existent, the acting is mediocre at best...what a complete waste of time. I'll never get those hours of my life back and I'm mad! The fact that anyone would pay $90+ for this is SCARY. Save your money and buy ANYTHING but this. I thought this movie was fabulous! It had a totally wacked plot line, but it was funny as hell! I would actually give it 3.5 stars total. It was funny, the cast was funny, and the storyline was funny, too. Okay, so it may not be like the Odd Couple, but it still ranks close with or ties with American Pie and Dumb and Dumber. This movie is funny. Average Rating:![]() |

Tekpower DC Variable Power Supply, 1.5-15 V @ 2A, HY152AReviewsLooking for an easy to use, all purpose variable power supply at a cheap price? I have used this one for a variety of hobby projects and it works well. Good deal for the price. Couple of notes: When powering off it takes a few seconds for the voltage to drop. This is common in a lot of power supplies. Just note that the drop to zero is not instantaneous. Also, it doesn't come with any cables so you may want to get yourself a pair of all purpose banana clip cables although the terminals are screw type so you can just connect a stripped wire to them if you prefer. Or you can get the banana plugs and add your own cable wires: 1 Pair Atlona 4mm Gold Speaker Wire Cable Banana Plugs Connectors This is a nice little power supply for all sorts of work. Down PeriscopeReviewsI never get tired of this movie, because the casting was wonderful. Casting Rip Torn as an admiral was inspired. Kelsey Grammar was understated, yet delightfully unpredictable, as a sub captain of misfits. Harry Dean Stanton made a totally convincing old sea dog. Bruce Dern and Rob Schneider played obnoxiously ambitious nut jobs to perfection. Lauren Holly was sympathetic as a dive officer thrust into a traditionally male environment. The sailors' imitations of Frank Sinatra, as well as of a whale couple swimming along side the sub, were amazing. The plot had the right mix of conflict and comic relief. The only other thing I could wish for is a sequel. Have loved this movie since it first came out. Can highly recommend if you want a good laugh. In the classic style of Ensign Pulver, Mr Roberts and Mash. Shows the military at it's silliest, you never tire of watching. Kelsey Grammer earns his comic stripes, Lauren Holly as always a sight to behold. Down Periscope a mixed up mess of miss fits pull togother to become a well oiled machine to show the higher ups whos better. I bought this for my husband for father's day since it was the movie we watched on our first date. It's funny and mostly clean. It does have a couple of choice words that I wouldn't feel comfortable having kids hear. Average Rating:![]() |

Two and a Half Men: The Complete Second SeasonReviewsThe more I watch the DVD releases of this show, the more I come to appreciate just how funny it really is. If you want to just pop in a DVD and just laugh for 2+ hours, this show is the way to go... every episode is hysterical. I bought seasons 1, 2 and 3 for my sister and she just loves them. For any fan of the show, this will make them happy. Although, in my opinion, there are enough repeats on tv that you don't need to have the full seasons on dvd. I like getting a full season of a show. I love this show ... obviously. DVDs are cheaper than the online, downloadable version, no matter who is the vendor. And while that kinda sucks, it's still the norm. Tangible product = cheaper. Woohoo, for now. Not for your kids (unless you don't mind a lot of sexual innuendo and jokes). However, I love it and it makes me laugh out loud. The writing is spot-on! We received our item earlier than they said and the quality was excellent. No problems and no complaints. Great job. MementoReviewsLeonard is an insurance investigator whose memory has been damaged following a head injury he sustained after intervening on his wife's murder. His quality of life has been severely hampered after this event, and he can now only live a comprehendable life by tattooing notes on himself and taking pictures of things with a Polaroid camera. The movie is told in forward flashes of events that are to come that compensate for his unreliable memory, during which he has liaisons with various complex characters. Leonard badly wants revenge for his wife's murder, but, as numerous characters explain, there may be little point if he won't remember it in order to provide closure for him. The movie veers between these future occurrences and a telephone conversation Leonard is having in his motel room in which he compares his current state to that of a client whose claim he once dealt with. If you're looking for something intense, suspenseful, and different than your usual effects-packed thriller, this is the best movie. It's brilliant story telling. You might get frustrated because you don't know what's going on. That's okay. In fact, that's the whole idea. Sit back and find out just how twisted and complex Leonard's world is. You'll have a hard time forgetting how much you enjoyed it. I saw this film when it first came out in theaters about 10 years ago. As has been well described in other reviews, it's a brilliant psychological thriller that keeps you guessing as you see each scene the way the main character would- without any memory of what came before. As the film progresses, into the past, the mystery is gradually revealed, and what we find out at the end, which is what happened at the beginning, gives new meaning to everything that came after. Sound confusing? Well it is. Which is why the film is worth seeing again. Seeing it again after 10 years was a strange experience, and even more fulfilling than the first time. That's because I didn't remember how the story ended (or began), so I could appreciate the unraveling of the mystery anew. And yet, with each new plot detail revealed, I began to have vague recollections of what would happen next. That made each scene more significant and enjoyable. To put it another way, when you see the film the first time, you're mostly in the dark about what's really going on until the end. And by then you may have forgotten much of what you saw because you didn't know it mattered at the time. Seeing it again, each detail becomes richer in meaning, the film seems deeper, and I could appreciate it on another level. When you get past the superficial level of the plot mystery, what remains is a meditation on how we choose who we are in the world, and the role that memory plays. After seeing this film, you may feel just a bit queasy, as you consider whether the foundation of your reality is as firm as you thought. We are, after all, what we know. And we know only what we can remember. And memory is imperfect at best, and may in fact be just a well-crafted illusion to create the world we want to live in. In that world, the meaning we bring to each new day is just a product of the memories we carry with us. There is a little bit of Leonard Shelby in all of us. This is a intricate crime story, and somewhat confusing to watch. The main character, Leonard Shelby (Guy Pearce) has lost his short-term memory. His long-term memory is intact. He can remember details and everything that happened before his "accident", but cannot retain what he has done or said five or ten minutes after doing anything (anterograde amnesia). He is unsure of who to trust, who are his friends, what is true and his only goal is revenge, finding the man who raped and murdered his wife. He is focused only on justice. He is well-built, thin, handsome, wearing expensive suits, driving an expensive jaguar, but lives in ratty, run-down motels, paying cash for all he wants. He is a former insurance investigator, very aware of his handicap, explaining to people in great detail why he has trouble knowing them or remembering what he told them. He has to rely on others, his index cards, photos, and skin tattoos to latch on to his past thoughts and observations. Leonard has psychological issues as he fights and struggles to interpret the evidence he finds and keeps on index cards and hiding places. The film starts from the endpoint, the murder of "Teddy" known as John Edward Gammell. The film re-winds and stalls in the present at times - it is complex and confusing to refigure the frames and realize how the meaning of events changes. The bad and good criss-cross as the story unfolds. It seems the color scenes are shown in reverse order and black and white are chronological. The two sequences come together at the end of the film. Leonard meets a woman named Natalie after finding a note in his clothes. Natalie at first is angry and resentful because she identifies Leonard with the clothes and car of her boyfriend Jimmy. After being educated about Leonard's short-term memory she uses him to drive a threatening man out of town. She offers to run the license plate on Leonard's latest tattoo to help in his investigation. The ending is somewhat of a surprise if you can figure out the movie's timeline. You've already read how this movie was made in all these other reviews. I'll just add that this is a great movie, and it stays with you afterward. A day lateer, you'll still be saying to yourself "Oh! That's why such and such happened!". Don't miss it. You'll love it. We have been sent a DVD that is for Region 1.... therefore we cannot play it in Australia. Amazon should be aware of this and make sure that the correct DVDs are sent to the relevant regions. H2Ocean 4 FL OZ Purified Ocean Salt Water Piercing Aftercare SprayReviewsI love, love, love this product. If they sold it by the drum, I'd probably buy it. After I got my piercings I used this along with Dr. Bronner's Hemp Tea Tree Oil soap (great stuff as well) and I healed very nicely and never had any problems with redness or infection. I've had my piercings for over two years and recently started getting lymph secretions and "crusties" again, so I bought some more H2Ocean and Dr. Bronner's soap and they took care of the problem. When first pierced and when the "crusties" came back, I used the product 4-6 times a day, spraying directly on the piercing and moving the piercing back and forth. After the secretions stopped, I continued to just spray once in the morning and once at night. This product, along with Dr. Bronner's soap (instead of regular body soap that can sometimes irritate piercings) create an excellent aftercare regimen. My piercing kept getting infected and I finally found out about this product. I read the reviews and decided to take a gamble and buy the product. I tried it out first and would apply it 3 to 6 times a day. I would use a cotton ball, spray the H2Ocean on it and put it on the piercing. I didn't see immediate improvement like other people did but in a couple of days the redness started to go away. However, that horrible bump didn't seem to want to leave and stayed there. Finally, I decided to take off the nose piercing that I got when I pierced my nose and instead put on a smaller gauge nose piercing that was 14K gold. Even though piercers say not to take off the nose piercing until after it has healed, which can be up to a year, I decided that it was best for me because the original piercing was too large and it just didn't want to heal. After I put on the new piercing I continued to wash the piercing in the mornings with the special soap for piercings and applied the H2Ocean 3-6 times a day and in about two days the bump was gone and the redness was gone. So, I'm not sure if it was the H2Ocean that did the job or just changing the piercing, that is why I gave it a 4 star but I still continue to wash the piercing every morning and spray the H2Ocean on in the morning and at night and there has been no redness or bumps since then. This is an excellent product and I don't have time to soak in salt water so I have not done that and this product has helped to keep my piercing clean and not infected. I'm so happy with this product! I'm giving the seller 2 stars not because the product isn't great but because of the seller's $8 shipping charge. The shipping for this product was just as much as it's cost...this is ridiculous and a rip off. I purchased this product for my recent nose piercing. It worked WONDERS. It helped soften up tough "crust" that had formed around my piercing, and helped alleviate swelling. I used it three ways: first, I sprayed it directly on a cotton ball and placed a cotton ball in my nostril to soak into the tissue inside my nose; second, I used another cotton ball to soak the outside of the piercing; third, I "free sprayed" H2Ocean onto my piercing several times a day to keep my piercing from feeling tight or itchy. I noticed tremendous improvements with "crustring", inflamation, soreness, and slight itching within 24 hours. I would recommend this product to everyone who is nursing a new piercing, or who needs to maintain a current piercing. I purchased this product for my recent nose piercing. It worked WONDERS. TOPICAINE 5% 10 g Topical Anesthetic Gel with Lidocaine 5%ReviewsThis product does NOT work at all, very disapointed. I spent 18.50 for a little tub of water!!! Wait at least fifteen minutes before using your dermaroller and you should stay numb for about forty-five minutes. I got three "rolls' worth" from the small tube and will be buying the larger size next time. This is great when you need to get an ingrown toenail out. It deadens the area so you can get your clippers where they need to go. I am sure it has many other uses but this is why I buy it. Better than going to a Podiatrist and having to get a shot. Highly recommend. This product suggests using a thick layer to numb and for the amount that you get it is extremely pricey. I have made this product last well by using it only for numbing the tiny eyebrow area before plucking or the top lip before epilating. But for more generous areas like a bikini line or legs, I will find something else more cost effective since this only offered slight to moderate numbing for hair removal purposes. The product was shipped and delivered in a timely fashion and in limited use, works as advertised. This numbing does take ~10-15 minutes to act. Average Rating:![]() |

BestMassage Black Reiki Portable Massage TableReviewsI intend to use this table for Reiki use only and the setup and size are perfect. It is a little heavy but it is made very well and can withstand up to 450lbs. I was able to set it up right out of the box without a problem. Great product for a great price. I just bought the same table and agree with the last reviewer ("SimplyFriday") -- this is a nice sturdy well-made table for a very good price. Since I will be using it for Reiki, and not massage, I did not think I needed to spend money for a higher-grade table (such as EarthLite or Master) that would need to withstand more movement/pressure/etc. Face cradle attachment is quite comfortable too, allowing you to adjust it either up, down or level with table's surface, with infinite range of positions. I also went with this particular model, with the section that tilts up (though not being entire sure if I would need it), because it cost only a little bit more than the model without it. However, I found it to be the only feature I have been disappointed with. The hardware used to keep it at an incline is not all that sturdy (unlike the rest of the table) -- so you feel like you cannot completely relax on it, wondering if it might give out. It might be that it never fails, but just wondering otherwise is not conducive to full relaxation. Regardless, even if I never make use of that one feature, this table is still a good price for what I did get. I am pleased with it. I bought this table elsewhere, but wanted to review it here for people, like me, who are not sure what to buy. I wish that I had been able to access reviews when buying my table. This table is great. Very sturdy, easy to use, and comfortable. It is a little bit hard, but I use a pad on top of the table for greater softness and protection of the table itself. It is a little heavy for me (I'm a 5'7" woman and not overly muscular), but it is easy enough to get into my SUV and to carry for short distances. If I were to transport it daily, I would perhaps want a lighter, aluminium legged table. My husband (6'2") has no problem carrying this at all. All in all, a great table at a great price. Do not equate the low price with bad quality. This is perfect for those of us just starting out. My family has been known to ask to take naps on it. As I use it for energy work, I have to decline the request, unless they want a Reiki session with their naps! Average Rating:![]() |

Do not get fool by the low price of this great massage table, the price is low, but the quality is high. This massage table is not only a great bargain during this sluggish economy, but also comes complete with all functional components... |

OLIVE CLASSIC MESSENGER BAG Heavyweight Canvas School LaptopReviewsI purchased one of these. it now says olive but didnt when i purchased it and the pic was black. also the description of the bag was very misleading. would never purchase from this vendor again. a bag my husband will actually carry. He always refused to carry any bag I suggested, so I gave it one more try with this one for Christmas. We just returned from a vacation and he actually used the bag the whole time we were gone. I bought it to carry items to and from work. A rather disappointing investment - strong, but does not do a good job of staying closed. The bag is not a laptop bag in any sense. The unit is simply a heavy ("military") fabric messenger bag. The product description simply adds the term "laptop" to the same bag sold elsewhere - which is a typical military-style fabric messenger bag. The unit is unpadded, contains no straps to secure a laptop unit, does not hold its form, and is unsuitable for laptop storage in nearly every aspect. On the bright side it has a small zipper pouch sewn into the inner compartment of the bag that has its uses. Aesthetics are appreciated in the area of "Man Purse" accessories (Rugged, utilitarian look) I will keep the unit because returning it is more of a hassle than it is worth. I intend to use it for books and papers but it's not very suitable for that either - it collapses under its own weight, won't stand upright, storage compartments are not suitable for pens and other office tools. Caveat emptor. I was hoping to get this bag in a dark gray, or black. Turned out they sent me the olive drab one. It appears the color you get may be random. Despite that, it is a nice, sturdy bag. I wouldn't call it a "laptop" bag because there seems to be no special accommodation for a laptop. It's simply just a bag that is big enough to hold a laptop. I have a 14 inch Asus Laptop I put in it. It's a bit loose in there, but it works well enough. I just have to be a little careful when I put it down because there is no padding or anything. The velcro that "holds" the main flap on is a joke. It does nothing. But it's not a huge deal, because a loose flap works well enough. Despite the drawbacks, this is a good looking bag that is cheap. I like it quite a bit. Average Rating:![]() |
